JUNIOR MEMBERS:

Junior Members can join Bowie FFA at nine years of age and are enrolled in a feeder school to Bowie H.S. The sooner you get started, the better it prepares you for FFA in high school. A head start on animals prepares your child with great idea on what socially to expect in their later years of FFA and also to get to know the high school-ers that are already in FFA.

Discovery Degree:

            Your child is eligible to receive the Discovery Degree in the seventh and eighth grades. The must also be enrolled in an agricultural class, attend meetings, and participate in at least one local FFA chapter activity outside of scheduled class time.
